Behavioural Work Testimonials
Please find below some of the very kind words my clients have shared with me.
"I have 2 dogs - a rather dozy, lazy Black Lab plus and an intelligent, energetic Border Collie. Both dogs are young & wonderfully friendly but each have very different needs. As part of a very busy family, with working parents and 3 young children, we ran into a few problems! I was anxious about seeking help as I was worried that I would be judged by a "Barbara Woodhouse" type and given lots of impossible regimes to implement but the moment Clare stepped over our threshold I was put at my ease. She was great with all the family as well as the dogs. She listened to my concerns and whilst gently suggesting possible ideas to help, she was constantly reassuring and encouraging about all the things we were doing right. Clare was full of ideas about lots of products on the market, as well as thoughts on different doggy classes. She really knows her stuff! With very little work & a few small changes the improvement in the dogs is amazing! Life at home and in the park is much more pleasurable and relaxing. I would recommend Clare to any dog owner without hesitation and will be happy to speak to anyone if you need telephone reassurance".

"I just wanted to say how valuable I found our Behavioural Session and to thank you for the time you spent with us and for all your help and advice. With Diesel being a rescue dog, things have been harder but your experience in this field was so helpful. I felt totally relaxed from the moment you arrived and felt you really cared and were genuinely interested in helping us. The time we spent together absolutely flew by and I really enjoyed learning so much more about dog behaviour, how to handle dogs in a firm but fair way and about becoming the "Pack Leader".
I particularly appreciated the time we spent in the park in a "real life" situation, so you could not only assess Diesel but also my reactions/interpretation of his behaviour. It was a pleasure to watch you handling Diesel so calmly and assertively. I have taken on board so many of your suggestions, which are working well. I also found the "Write up" of your visit invaluable as without this, I would probably have forgotten some of the information you gave me. I feel the service you offer Clare is fantastic, I just wish you could be with me on every walk we go on to help me!"

"We had lost all confidence in letting our dog off the lead and with her recall. Street walking was not enough for her or us and we all missed out on letting her run free. The information Clare shared with us made so much sense and we felt really encouraged that we could not wait to get to the local park and let Lola off again. We were shown how to control a dog when somebody came to the door and Lola no longer jumps up at visitors. Working with a behaviourist has made life so much easier and has also taught us how to behave with Lola, having two children this was important. Clare has made such a difference with Lola and as much as we enjoyed her before, it is now so much more rewarding to see Lola so happy. We would highly recommend Clare to any dog onwer and can definitely say the advice you receive will be invaluable"

"What a success your behavioural session with us was. The day you were with us to the present day there have only been two occasions Pip would not return. My new "in control woman in charge, standing firm" attitude is working. Thank you VERY much".

"The time Clare spent with us was valued and appreciated by all of the family and we thank her for it. Her style was very supportive and not judgemental. The advice and the context in which she provided it was easy to understand. I think that Clare set us on a path of change that will, I'm sure with time, benefit our family. In all we felt that her help was brilliant - thanks Clare".
